DESKTOPS: Studio - Pro - iMac - mini
The Mac Studio and Mac Pro are Apple's high-performance workstations with four to 24 cores (see
Mac Studio and
Mac Pro). The iMac all-in-one is the most popular Mac with the computer built into the monitor (see
iMac). The Mac mini is the smallest Mac desktop computer (see
Mac mini).
LAPTOPS: MacBook Pro and Air
MacBook Pro laptops come with 13" and 15" screens (a 17" model was dropped in 2012). The 13" MacBook Air is Apple's lightest laptop. See

SERVERS: macOS Server (until 2022)
macOS Server turns a Mac into a server. However, in 2022, it was discontinued, although users can still download the software from the Mac App Store for use with macOS Monterey. See
