Definition: Galaxy Fold

Samsung's first foldable smartphone. Introduced in the fall of 2019, the Galaxy Fold uses a flexible OLED screen. The Fold is a 4.6" phone for making calls but opens into a 7" tablet. It includes three main cameras from 12 to 16MP and 512GB of internal storage. There is no microSD card slot.

Initially available from AT&T, the Fold is the most expensive smartphone on the market with a retail price of just under USD $2000. See Galaxy Z Flip, iPhone Fold, FOLED, Galaxy S, Galaxy A and Galaxy C.
