Smartphone keyboards use physical keys or the touchscreen to enter text, and some devices offer both options. On most smartphones, pressing the space bar twice inserts a period and space to end the sentence. Just like computer keyboards, each physical smartphone keyboard has its own feel and responsiveness, and each touchscreen keyboard has its own methods for key press feedback and symbols for upper/lower case identification.
