Definition: rolling smartphone

A smartphone with a roll-up screen. Instead of making a flat screen larger, the screen rolls back into the case like a window shade. Rolling phones will be lighter and take up less room in a pocket or purse than foldable phones. At CES 2021, TCL and LG demonstrated rolling phones without specific production dates. See foldable phone.
