Automobile dashboards are a whole lot different today than they were in the past; witness the following touchscreen examples. See touchscreen.

Tesla's LCD Screens
The driver's immediate dashboard screen (top) in a Tesla shows the vehicle in relation to other cars on the road. The 17" central screen (bottom) is larger than the display in most laptops.

All-Screen Mercedes-Benz Dashboard
Introduced in 2021 and designed for the Mercedes EQS luxury electric sedan, the 56" MBUX Hyperscreen spans the entire dashboard. Powered by NVIDIA GPUs, the OLED Hyperscreen is part of the vehicle's intelligent infotainment system. MBUX stands for "Mercedes-Benz user experience." See OLED.
