Definition: Wi-Fi audio


Streaming audio to speakers via Wi-Fi. Although myriad Bluetooth speakers are available, Wi-Fi is a lot more flexible. While only one Bluetooth audio stream from source to speaker is available at one time, Wi-Fi's higher bandwidth supports high-resolution audio formats and enables multiple sources to be transmitted to different sets of speakers.
