Russia's equivalent of YouTube. Founded in 2006, RuTube hosts movies, series, live broadcasts and live streaming of video games. It also provides educational content and short vertical videos. In 2010, the RuTube player was added to the VKontakte social media platform. See

Why English Letters?
The RuTube logo is in Roman characters rather than the Russian Cyrillic because it is designed for global consumption even though it is targed to Russian speakers.
