Definition: Intel microarchitectures

The chip architecture in Intel's Core CPU family. Microarchitectures are the intrinsic design of the chips, whereas the chipsets provide the interfaces to the CPUs (see Intel chipsets). Following are Intel's microarchitectures starting with the Core i7 CPU in 2008. See microarchitecture, Intel node names and Intel Core.
