Meta Quest), Brian Schimpf, Trae Stephens, Matt Grimm and Joseph Chen. Anduril Industries builds drones, robots, surveillance systems and command and control systems that take advantage of AI. Founded in 2017, Anduril's formation was planned to take advantage of the Department of Defense's Silicon Valley offices formed two years earlier to add AI technology to the battlefield. As a result, the U.S. Department of Defense is a major customer.
