Definition: elastomeric connector
A circuit board packaging device that allows a quick connection and alignment of electronic devices. Typically used to attach LCD panels to a board, the connector is a flexible polymer bar with alternating conductive and non-conductive bands. The conductive bands adhere to the contact pads on both devices.
