Definition: virtual tour

A 3D image of any object that can be rotated in all dimensions by the viewer. Virtual tours are widely used to show products for sale as well as the interior of a home or apartment. A "digital twin" of the object is created by scanning all sides of the product or venue with a 3D camera, and software builds the model for the virtual tour. See Matterport.
