Definition: twishing

(TWitter phISHING) A phishing scam over X/Twitter. The classic scam induced people to click a link that looked like the Twitter home page. After entering username and password, the site had obtained the user's login data, which not only gave them access to the X/Twitter page, but to other sites on the Internet (people tend to identify themselves the same on many sites).
