Definition: transparent TV

A TV set that has a transparent OLED screen. When not rendering content, the screen mostly disappears. For example, in a cramped apartment, the TV can be placed against a window, and when not in use, the window is visible. In a commercial environment, seeing through the screen is eye catching, and depending on the interior layout of a home, it may be equally intriguing. See TOLED.

If This Were a Transparent TV
Instead of a black void, the shutters and flowers behind this LG OLED TV would be visible. If the price ever reaches human levels, interior designers might embrace it.
