Broadcasting video as it is being recorded. In the early days of TV, live streaming was called "broadcasting," and the camera was in a recording studio. Today, any user with an action cam, phone, tablet or Webcam can stream live from anywhere, and any user can view it on any phone, tablet or computer.

Also Video Calling/Conferencing
The term live streaming has evolved and is used to refer to any type of video broadcasting, including Skype, Facetime and Zoom. See POV camera, lifecasting, Livestream and videoconferencing.
