An organization that provides seed capital, mentoring, office space and collaboration to the creators of new high-tech products. Also called a "seed accelerator," the goal of a startup accelerator is that within a few short months, the inventors will be able to make a presentation to investors that clearly shows the advantages and payback of their hardware, software or service.
