A hotel that is managed almost entirely by robots. Robot hotels check people in via computer and provide towels, laundry and room service using mechanical robots. For emergencies and other services, there is always a human available.
Henn na Hotels in Japan pioneered robot hotels; however, there are similar venues in New York, Chicago, Seoul, South Korea and other cities. Increasingly, regular hotels provide robot delivery of luggage or room service. See
