Definition: robo
(ROBOt) Robo is a prefix for "robot" and "robotic" and refers to countless automated and AI-based hardware and software products. The term robot dates back to the 1920s (see robot). One of the first uses of "robo" for software was RoboCAD. See robot, robo advisor, robo lawyer, robo sapien, social robot and robotic vacuum cleaner.
