Definition: predictive AI

An AI that forecasts future requirements or the outcome of a specific situation. In order to obtain results, predictive AI is trained on the historical data of the subject, such as stock market history. Contrast with generative AI (genAI), which is trained on huge amounts of data and, when given a prompt, creates seemingly original content about countless subjects. See An-E and ChatGPT.
