Definition: neuromorphic computing


Using computers designed to mimic the human brain. Neuromorphic computing differs from neural engines, which are all digital circuits and widely incorporated into everyday devices such as smartphones. Neuromorphic designs imply analog circuits as well as digital. See neural processing unit.
