There are generally two buttons on every mouse. The left button is the primary button, which selects the object at the screen cursor (click the mouse) or is held down (drag and drop). The right button (right click) is typically used to display an auxiliary menu (see
context menu). Most mice today have scroll wheels, which reside between the two buttons. See
