Definition: landscape monitor
A computer monitor with a screen wider than it is high. Almost all computer monitors are built with a landscape orientation; however, some monitors can be swiveled into portrait mode. See portrait monitor and landscape.
Landscape and Portrait Monitors
The center monitor is in landscape mode. The Samsung monitors at each end are turned 90 degrees into portrait mode.
