Definition: iPhone 11

Apple's earlier flagship smartphone family. Debuting in September 2019, the 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max use Apple's A13 chip, which the company claims is the fastest smartphone system-on-chip (SoC) on the market. The A13 improves battery life by shutting off many parts of the chip when not being used.

Cameras and picture taking have been greatly improved, including a 13mm ultra-wide zoom lens. Apple's Deep Fusion uses AI techniques to render every pixel more accurately than in previous cameras. All models include Haptic Touch, a long-press version of 3D Touch, which was dropped. In addition, ultra-wideband (UWB) was added to more precisely pinpoint other iPhones in the vicinity for data sharing (see AirDrop). See iOS versions and iPhone.
