Flash memory storage that is stacked vertically like high bandwidth memory (HBM). Used in AI processing, high bandwidth flash (HBF) is faster than the traditional NAND flash in solid state drives but slower than dynamic RAM (DRAM). For example, DRAM and HBM latency is in the order of 15 nanoseconds, whereas HBF is roughly 10 microseconds (10,000 nanoseconds). See
