One quintillion hashes. An exahash generally refers to mining Bitcoin and means that every second a collection of mining rigs is making one quintillion hash computations in total. Individual rigs are rated in terahashes (trillion hashes per second).
In April 2023, the CleanSpark renewable energy company claimed that by the end of the year, its Bitcoin mining capacity would reach 16 exahashes per second (16 EH/s) with its 75,000 mining machines. See
