A variety of streaming apps are included in smart TVs, cable boxes and digital media hubs such as Apple TV and Roku, most of which allow the user to download additional apps. Comcast combines apps for streaming services along with premium movie channels. When selected, apps for paid entertainment such as Netflix and Apple TV+ log in to the subscriber's account to authorize the service and then display their content menu.
