Definition: electromechanical

The use of electricity to run moving parts. An electric motor and electric typewriter are examples of electromechanical devices. High-quality electromechanical systems are designed to withstand the eventual deterioration of moving components that wear over time.

Electronic-Mechanical
Most everything that requires electricity these days also uses integrated circuits (chips) for various functions. Therefore, keyboards, mice and printers (even disk drives) are more precisely "electronic-mechanical" devices, although the term is rarely used. See electronic.

An Electromechanical TV?
Hard to believe but the very first TV design in the 19th century was actually an electromechanical device that used a spinning disc (see video/TV history).
