Definition: eComStation


A client operating system from PayGlobal, originally from sister company Serenity Systems International. Introduced in 2001 and based on IBM's OS/2, eComStation runs OS/2 and DOS applications on modern hardware. eComStation (eCS) is REXX enabled and includes Java support. The Java-based OpenOffice.org suite is also included. eComStation Server Edition includes IBM's last update of Warp Server for e-Business combined with several IBM Web server products. See OS/2.
