Definition: domain language model


An AI language model that is trained on a specific topic or industry. When asked to generate results within the domain the domain language model (DLM) was trained on, the domain model is generally more accurate and more comprehensive than a large language model (LLM). In addition, the resulting jargon is more targeted. See large language model.
