Definition: digital license plate
A permanent vehicle license plate that is updated via cellular. Digital license plates provide automatic renewal and allow for customization. In 2018, Reviver Auto introduced the Rplate product with initial approval in California. The Rconnect app is used for registration, renewals and customization.
