Using computers and the Internet for profit. Technically, every transaction on earth that uses a computer is digital capitalism if the end result is a profitable outcome. However, depending on its usage, the term may have a positive or negative connotation. For example, new software can be an outstanding success for a small startup, but big companies use their algorithms to become monopolies. See Web3.
