Definition: crowdsurfing

Being physically carried through a crowd of people. Crowdsurfing typically occurs at a rock concert or similar event. The entertainers either jump into the audience or are hoisted up and moved by many people throughout the crowd more or less lying on their back. Although "crowd" and "surfing" sound like tech terms, crowdsurfing has nothing to do with technology. See crowdsourcing.
