Definition: TV Everywhere

A major advantage of streaming video whereby the content can be viewed on most or all viewing devices, including a computer, tablet, smartphone, smart TV and digital media hub by installing the app for that channel. Users must log in the first time with their username and password to register their subscription in the app. In 2009, Time Warner Cable introduced TV Everywhere to its subscribers, and other providers followed thereafter.
