A rechargeable battery technology that offers many advantages over lithium-ion batteries. Aluminum-ion batteries for EVs are expected to fully charge in as little as 10 minutes, hold more energy and last longer. They are also reportedly more stable, safer and cost considerably less. In addition, aluminum-ion batteries are more easily recyclable.
