Definition: Zonbu

An earlier low-cost Linux-based desktop computer from Zonbu that was preloaded with browser, office applications, utilities, games and an iPod-compatible music player. Introduced in 2007 and pronounced "zon-boo," Zonbu was offered as a subscription service. The monthly fee included automatic software upgrades, online storage and unlimited support. Extremely compact, the computer used a solid state flash drive and external keyboard and monitor.
