Definition: Windows Action Center
The notification center in Windows starting with Windows Phone 8.1 and the mobile and desktop versions of Windows 10. The Action Center provides a fast way of accessing notes and settings and turning functions on and off. It is also the way to switch between Tablet and Desktop modes, which dramatically alters the user interface. See Win10 Tablet mode.

In this example, three notifications are present, and Bluetooth is not connected. Users can switch between Tablet and Desktop modes, check network and location settings, go into Airplane mode, turn on "do not disturb" (Quiet Hours), change brightness, configure a second monitor (Project), as well as activate Miracast (Connect).
