Definition: Win10 All apps menu
In Windows 10 Desktop mode, the All apps menu and Tiles menu are displayed side by side in the Start menu. When new programs are installed, their icons are placed alphabetically in the All apps section of the Start menu. In Windows 10 Tablet mode, the Start menu is split into two screens much like Windows 8, and the user can switch between them. Start Menu Programs
In Desktop mode, all the apps appear as icons on the left side of the Start menu. For quick access, the icons on the left may be replicated as tiles on the right.
