Definition: Win Maximize windows

Maximizing an application window extends it to the full width and height of the screen. After maximizing, the window can be restored to its previous size. There are two ways to maximize and restore.

MAXIMIZE WINDOW
Double click anywhere on the top border of the active window or click the Maximize icon at top right of window.

RESTORE WINDOW TO PREVIOUS SIZE
Double click anywhere on the top border of the active window or click Restore icon at top right of window.
