Definition: virtual reality locomotion

Simulating walking or running in a virtual reality (VR) environment. VR locomotion also refers to VR teleportation whereby the viewer is automatically transported to a new location. VR teleportation is generally more comfortable for users than walking or running in a VR setting, because without physical movement, some people experience motion sickness. See virtual reality.
