(1) (Vision to Venture) See SXSW.

(2) (Virtual to Virtual) The migration of one virtual machine (VM) to another VM platform. See V2P, P2V and virtual machine.

(3) (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) Also called a "vehicular ad hoc network" (VANET), V2V enables cars and trucks to communicate with each other in order to disseminate traffic information. In the ultimate manifestation of self-driving cars, V2V data would time red lights based on current traffic. If only self-driving cars were on the road, traffic lights could be eliminated altogether.

V2I and V2V
Vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) augments a V2V network by enabling vehicles to communicate with terrestrial base stations. See virtual traffic lights, telematics and ITS.
