The latest USB standard introduced in 2017. USB 3.2 added two dual-lane SuperSpeed+ modes when using USB Type C cables, and it absorbed the previous USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 specifications. See USB Type C.

As of 2018, USB 2.0 and 3.2 are the two official USB standards. However, there are millions of ports labeled USB 3.0 and 3.1 in use on computers, hubs, storage drives and other components. See USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB.
