An encrypted email service from Tutao GmbH in Hannover and Munich, Germany. Introduced in 2011, Tuta, formerly Tutanota, has been open source since 2014. Available for all major desktop and mobile platforms, tuta and nota mean "secure message" in Latin. In 2018, Tuta was the first email service on F-Droid, a free and open source app store. See
