A feature of the Mac starting with the Mavericks OS X (Version 10.9) that lets files be transferred between machines via the Thunderbolt interface. Commonly used to migrate an older Mac to a newer one, file transfer via a Thunderbolt cable is much faster than Wi-Fi or Ethernet. See
