Definition: Tesla Semi
An electric 18-wheel tractor trailer from Tesla. Introduced in 2017, the first Tesla Semi was delivered to PepsiCo in December 2022. The Semi can go 500 miles on a single charge with a full load weighing approximately 40 tons. The Tesla Semi's Autopilot requires the driver to be attentive, although driverless Semis are a future goal.
