(Transaction Architecture for the Management of INternet Objects) A native XML database for Windows, Solaris and Linux from Software AG, Reston, Virginia. The first commercial native XML database, Tamino is based on its X-machine Web server and supports the XQL query language. Tamino's X-node interface provides access to and from legacy databases.
