Definition: TBW

(TeraBytes Written) A measurement of flash memory endurance. SSD vendors rate their products either in terabytes written (TBW) or petabytes written (PBW). The endurance may also be measured in "device writes per day" (DWPD), which divides the TBW or PBW by the number of days in the drive's warranty. See flash memory.
