A blockchain from Mysten Labs that launched in 2023. Sui is a Layer 1 blockchain like Bitcoin and Ethereum but executes transactions thousands of times faster. Several decentralized exchanges support Sui, which uses the delegated proof-of-stake (dPoS) consensus mechanism (see
proof-of-stake algorithm). Sui uses the Move cross-platform programming language for smart contracts, and Move Prover checks the validity of smart contract programming. See
