Definition: Silicon curtain

The global technology divide. Coined by Yuval Noah Harari in his book "Nexus," the silicon curtain is a metaphor for the division between countries that are technologically advanced using AI and those that are not. The analogy, of course, was from the Iron Curtain, coined after World War II that separated the Soviet Union from the West.
