Definition: Microsoft Smart Watch


A wristwatch that retrieved data from Microsoft's MSN wireless service via a portion of the FM radio band. Introduced in 2004, sales stopped in 2008 but service remained through 2011. A product of Microsoft's Smart Personal Objects Technology (SPOT), watches were made by Fossil, Suunto, Tissot and Swatch. See smartwatch.
