(Quasi-Zenith Satellite System) Space-based navigation augmentation for the U.S. GPS system in the Asia-Oceania region and Japan. With a total of four satellites built by Mitsubishi Electric, the first was launched in 2010, and all four became operational in 2018. Additional satellites are planned. See GPS augmentation system.
