Definition: QHD


(1) (Quad HD) A screen resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. Also called "Wide Quad HD" (WQHD), it is four times the total number of pixels in the base HD standard (1280x720). WQHD+ is 2960x1440. See DTV and screen resolution.

(2) (Quad HD) A 4K TV resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. Also called "Quad Full HD" (QFHD), it is four times the total number of pixels in Full HD (FHD), which is 1920x1080. See 4K TV, DTV and screen resolution.

(3) (qHD) (Quarter HD) A screen resolution of 960x540 pixels; one fourth the total number of pixels in Full HD (FHD), which is 1920x1080. See DTV and screen resolution.
